20 Weeks +*+*+*+5 MONTH DANCE*+*+*+*

HOW BIG IS MY BABY:Crown to rump baby is about 6.5 inches long, from head to heel baby is about 10 inches, Baby is about 9 to 10.5 ounces.

WHAT CHANGES ARE OCCURING IN MY BABY: Baby is swallowing more these days, shich is good practice for the digestive system.

HOW BIG AM I: My weight is the same as last week, still down 18 lbs. But no mistaking that I'm pregnant.

HOW AM I FEELING: Super Dooper! I think it is funny... 3 days in a row NO energy, then BAM scrubbing the floor with a toothbrush...lol

HOW IS MY PARTNER FEELING: Just going with the flow. He informed the baby of each family member. Let me tell you about.... too funny!

THINGS TO DO THIS WEEK: Nesting again!!! I was 19 weeks and 6 days and man my house got it good. *#*#*Clutter be gone!*#*#*

ADVICE FOR OTHER PREGOS: I am loving my pregnancy pants I got from Motherhood Maternity. Mine are just dress pants I wear to work but I'm gonna get a pair of blue jeans for any other time. Love Them!!! I'm keeping these even after the baby. Oh yeah!

Momma's to be make sure you are drinking enough water. I ain't gonna preach. But you need and so does the baby so just do it!

To my fav TTCer. You are still in my prayers. Don't ever think you aren't. My heart cries with you. I know that pain and I haven't forgotten. Soon I pray...soon!

19 1/2 weeks Date Night with Daddy

This baby just amazes me. I feel it moving and kicking and I will try to watch my belly to see if I can see it move... nothing! I look away for a split second and that is the time the baby moves.


Derrick and myself went out to eat and to watch UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship)
We have made these events our date night for the last 2 years?!?! Well Baby Jones must have been doing some major mixed martial arts training in there cause it moved about 50 times during that night. We were joking about the baby doing submission holds on it's umbilical cord and making itself pass out (due to lack of blood flow). I'm glad the baby had such a good time. I know we did. lol

I called Derrick's Dad before our date to wish him Happy Birthday. He asked me if Derrick talked to my belly. I told him yes. He said, "Well make sure you tell him to tell the baby that Papa Russ love you." How sweet is that. Almost made me cry!

Liz went to a Halloween Party at one of her friends house. She dressed up as Super Girl and she looked great.

We had a really big and fun weekend.

19 Weeks October 21, 2010

HOW BIG IS MY BABY: Crown to rump 5.25 to 6 inches (remember that the legs are not included in this so the baby is probably around 9 to 10 all together). About 7 ounces. The baby will increase its weight 15 times between now and birth. WOW!

WHAT CHANGES ARE OCCURING IN MY BABY: Baby now has pads on it's fingers and toes and the Brain is formingin areas that hold the baby's since of taste, hearing, vision, and touch.

HOW BIG AM I: Weigh in this morning 238 pounds. That 18 pounds lost since I found out I was pregnant. You can very much tell that I'm pregnant. Have to start posting pictures of me and baby bump.

HOW AM I FEELING: Happy about you. My health is doing good. Feeling bouts of anger that come and go quickly. A few leg cramps at night. Overall pretty well.

HOW IS MY PARTNER FEELING: Dad is doing great. Loves to watch football with us.

THINGS TO DO THIS WEEK:Organize the hallway cabnet. BLAH!!! Been dreading that one.

SPECIAL THOUGHTS AND FEELINGS ABOUT THIS WEEK: I love feeling your little bumps and kicks throughout the day. I'm so happy to be pregnant and yet my heart also breaks for the women who aren't and so desperately want to be. :(

ADVICE FOR OTHER PREGOS: Take a nap instead of washing dishes!

18 Weeks

HOW BIG IS MY BABY: Crown to rump 5 to 5.5 inches and 5.25 ouces

WHAT CHANGES ARE OCCURING IN MY BABY: Hair has started to grow on the baby's head (unless it will be bald like Daddy) IF you are a boy your prostrate is forming this week.

HOW BIG AM I: Weigh in this morning 239 pounds. I've lost 17 pounds since I found out.

HOW AM I FEELING: Great! A little discomfort just because you sit so low.

HOW IS MY PARTNER FEELING: Daddy is talking and rubbing my belly more often. Can't wait til he feels you move

QUESTIONS FOR MY DR.: none

THINGS TO DO THIS WEEK: I've been nesting all week. Organizing and reorganizing the baby's room. The cabnet with the plastic storage containers, in the kitchen, got it good this week.

SPECIAL THOUGHTS AND FEELINGS ABOUT THIS WEEK: Happy to say I'm 4 1/2 months.

17 Weeks

HI BABY!!!!

HOW BIG IS MY BABY: Crown to rump 4.5 to 4.75 inches and 3.5 ounces Baby is the size of my open hand. I'd love to hold you!!

WHAT CHANGES ARE OCCURING IN MY BABY: Fat begins forming this week.
If you follow me watch is the following weeks how the baby really begins to gain weight quickly. From last week to this week the baby has gained an ounce! That's almost 1/3 of it weight. So cool!

HOW BIG AM I: Definately showing, some days more than others. I've had a lot of people tell me I look great.

HOW AM I FEELING: Still pretty good. You have been a wonderful pregnanacy. I hope you being this good continues!

HOW IS MY PARTNER FEELING: He just keeps saying look how the baby is growing. He loves you baby.

QUESTIONS FOR MY DR.: I feel the baby really low. And I wondering about the location of the plecenta, what does it mean for delivery options if it is on the crevix or on or over my scar.

THINGS TO DO THIS WEEK: Get all the bigger baby clothes I've bought in Gender storage totes. Anything above 3-6 months.

SPECIAL THOUGHTS AND FEELINGS ABOUT THIS WEEK: Who wouldn't be happy during this time in there pregnancy. I feel this party going on in my uterus and you are just moving often. I love feeling it. You are just so precious. And so is my other baby. I'm a really blessed mom.

16 Weeks Pregnant - 4 Months Dance!

HOW BIG IS MY BABY:HUGE!! just kidding... crown to rump 4 1/3 to 4 2/3 inches long and 2 3/4 ounces. Your talking gaining an ounce in a week, GO BABY! I can gain a pound by looking at a piece of chocolate cake.

WHAT CHANGES ARE OCCURRING IN MY BABY: Uterus and placenta are growing. Uterus weighed about 5 ounces at the start and is now about 8.75 ounces. There is also an added 7.5 ounces of fluid in there and of course another 2.75 ounces for the baby. I started to feel the baby move this week, especially after I eat. This is definitely a Baptist Baby!

HOW BIG AM I: Lost a couple of pounds. I at 241. I'm down a total of 15 pounds from the day I found out.

HOW AM I FEELING: really tired still and thirst, my appetite has started to return on some days.

HOW IS DAD FEELING: Doing good this week as always Daddy is happy you are on your way. I find he touches my belly often :)

QUESTIONS FOR MY DR.: none

THINGS TO DO THIS WEEK: Doing a rummage sale this weekend. US 60 200 miles. We made about $160. Whoo-hoo love me some money.

SPECIAL THOUGHTS OR FEELINGS ABOUT THIS WEEK: I love feeling the tickle feeling, knowing you are moving inside brings me comfort and reassures me that you are OK :) Can't wait till Daddy and Sissy can feel you too!

SPECIAL MEMENTOS AND MEMORIES: I ate a whole jar of green olives on 10-6-2010. And wanted another.

ADVICE FOR OTHER PREGOS: Go get your feet and nails done you deserve it! Even if you are not pregnant go get them done you deserve it too! Pooch out your belly and make up story and they will rub your "pregnant" legs longer!!! LOL

15 Weeks - Vacation Week

HOW BIG IS MY BABY: crown to rump 4 to 4 1/2 inches. Gummybear weighs about 1 3/4 ounces. Is now the size of a soft ball. Aren't you a biggin'.

WHAT CHANGES ARE OCCURRING IN MY BABY: The fine hair, lanugo, covers your body. You may be sucking your thumb by now. Bones are even harder and can be seen in an Xray.

HOW BIG AM I: Gained 1 pound back from all the boneless buffalo wings I ate on vacation.

HOW AM I FEELING: Like when I was 1st pregnant, tired and peeing alot. I think the tiredness came from coming back to work and I've gotten REALLY thirsty again. I talking during a work day it is easy to drink 2 44 oz glasses of water.

HOW IS DAD FEELING: Stressed about work. Looking into new possibilites. Hopefully something will turn up. The stress just shows how much he loves us and wants to be a provider for our family. We are blessed that he has that character about him. There are babies out there who's Daddy could care less. We are blessed.

QUESTIONS FOR MY DR.: Are we going to do the blood work for the AFP testing? (Will ask at my next check up at 17 weeks and give you the answer)

THINGS TO DO THIS WEEK: Sleep!

SPECIAL THOUGHTS OR FEELINGS ABOUT THIS WEEK: I was looking in my book in weeks ahead adn in another 1 1/2 months you will go from 1.5 ounces to 12 ounces. That's so cool. Can't wait to feel you dance. But PLEASE stay off my bladder. Love you baby.

SPECIAL MEMENTOS AND MEMORIES: We have the best picture of us on vacation this year. You went to your 1st football game when you were 14 weeks 5 day in belly old. LOL We bought you a WKU mascot from the game for you to always have. I also found a piggy bank I plan to let Liz paint for you and by this journal you will know how long you have had it. We love you sweet baby and can't wait to meet you.

ADVICE FOR OTHER PREGOS: Remember to take good care of your teeth. Our horomones are going nuts and it even effects your teeth so brush 2 times and day and floss once. I'll get off my mommy soapbox now.

14 Weeks Pregnant

Baby Jones you are an amazing pregnancy. I pray you are this good when you are here in my arms.

HOW BIG IS MY BABY:crown to rump 3 1/2 to 4 inches adn weighs almost 1 ounce. So tiny!!

WHAT CHANGES ARE OCCURRING IN MY BABY: Ears continue to move into correct position, Eyes are becoming more centered. Neck is getting longer and no longer rests on chest.

HOW BIG AM I: Still haven't gain weight, which I think is good!

HOW AM I FEELING: Pretty Good still. A little trouble sleeping. And Crazy Dreams. There was one I dreamed Gummybear had excaped out of my uterus and was moving threw my body. It moved to the very front of my belly so it's sissy could feel it kick. It would move to my hand while I was at work...crazy stuff.

HOW IS DAD FEELING: great about you. We got some faith building news this week about his job. But we know that God will take care of us. I pray on day you will look back and read this and know that God answers prayers.

QUESTIONS FOR MY DR.: none

THINGS TO DO THIS WEEK: GO ON VACATION WHOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SPECIAL THOUGHTS AND FEELING ABOUT THIS WEEK: I know in just a few weeks I will start to feel you move. Sometimes it's hard to remember I'm actually pregnant, you have been such a great pregnancy.

ADVICE FOR OTHER PREGOS:Trust God in all things. If I never had a problem I wouldn't know that God could solve them, I'd never know what faith in God could do.

13 Weeks

HOW BIG IS MY BABY: Crown to rump 2 1/2 to 3 inches and 1/2 to 3/4 ounces! Gummybear is now the size of a small peach.

WHAT CHANGES ARE OCCURRING IN MY BABY: Baby's head has slowed down in growth and the body is takiing time to catch up. Eyes are starting to move closer together and ears are coming into normal position.

HOW BIG AM I: Today I weighed 243 which is pretty good for me. No worries. All the sudden I feel like I look pregnant. Even "D" noticed, my hubby.

HOW AM I FEELING: The last 2 days I've had some mild discomfort do to the ligaments holding my uterus stretching. But still doing pretty good.

HOW IS DAD FEELING: Seeing the smile on you Daddy's face when we heard your heartbeat again was priceless!

QUESTIONS FOR MY DR.: What are we havin'??????? to be cont...

THINGS TO DO THIS WEEK: Wash the kitchen celing... yeah I know right... nesting.

SPECIAL THOUGHTS AND FEELING ABOUT THIS WEEK: The thought of you being big(lol) enough to curl up in the palm of my hand and thinking how tiny your hands and feet are. I love you Baby Jones. Feeling Blessed you are doing so well.

ADVICE FOR OTHER PREGOS: Don't worry about what others say about your size. As long as you feel healthy to heck with them. By this I mean family not Dr's. Not all girls were ment to be a size 2 otherwise God wouldn't have put size 20's on the Earth.

DR's APPT: We had a Dr's appointment the day I turned 13 weeks. Loved hearing the heartbeat. I recorded it on my camera. I look forward to the day I will be able to share it with you. I wondering if you are a boy or girl. Being honest we want a boy but if you are a girl we will spoil you either way.

Week 12

I'm sorry I'm so far behind on my posts. I'm gonna try to catch them up in the next day or so. I've been keeping a journal so I just need to put it on here.

HOW BIG IS MY BABY: Gummybear weighs between 1/3 and 1/2 ounces and is almost 2 1/2 inches long. The baby's size has doubled in the last 3 weeks.

WHAT CHANGES ARE OCCURRING IN MY BABY: so much... center of the bones have formed, hair is growing, digestive system is working, baby is now able to absorb sugar. baby can open it's mouth and move it's finger and toes and can now squint. So cute!

HOW AM I FEELING: pretty well. still not showing much, some days more than others. can't wait to feel the baby move.

HOW IS DAD FEELING: Derrick has been sick this week. The changes in the weather had him all stuffed up :(

THINGS TO DO THIS WEEK: Enjoy the 3 day weekend... Whoo Hoo!!

SPECIAL THOUGHTS AND FEELING ABOUT THIS WEEK: Looking forward to our vacation no cooking, no cleaning! Ahhhh! A well needed rest.
